The idea for what would later become Pennsylvania Storm Tracking started in 2023, with a project called 'DiamondWX'. It operated similar to this website, however it was nowhere near as complete and official. It was a short-lived project where some alert information for the state would be posted, and some outlooks would be made, but it collapsed within a few months.

In 2024, the idea was revisited, but no new project was created.

On April 17, 2025, the idea came to mind once again, and this website was created. Initially not optimistic for this project, I did not believe it would last more than a few months. However, the project has grown more than I thought it would. Of course we aren't some huge group, but we have acquired a decent following, and I am happy for that.
